Early-stage funding organization Nashville Capital Network said Monday it has expanded its sponsorship ranks and added three board members.
Joining the NCN as underwriters, a $5,000 sponsorship level, are regional accounting firm Decosimo and related sell-side advisory and financing firm Decosimo Corporate Finance. Mike Costello, principal of Decosimo CPAs, has joined NCN's board of directors.
In addition, Lattimore Black Morgan & Cain, the Nashville Health Care Council, and outsourcing and advisory firm W Squared have all upgraded their NCN support to the $10,000 Sponsor level. LBMC Managing Partner Mike Cain and W Squared CEO Shannon Farrington are also new to the NCN board.
Previously, LBMC and the Health Care Council were underwriters and W Squared was an NCN Patron, a $2,500 level.
"These new sponsors recognize the uniqueness of Nashville Capital Network, the strength of our collaborative network and the track record we have established," said Sid Chambless, NCN executive director in a statement. "This increased support will enable us to expand our entrepreneur advocacy programs, and in the process develop more promising investment opportunities for our network of angel investors."
NCN was launched in 2003 and has helped 19 companies raise more than $70 million, given business plan feedback to 250 companies and held more than 100 advisory meetings.
