DSI Renal headlines new Fifth Third Center leases

Three tenants total 44,000 square feet

DSI Renal will relocate to the Fifth Third Center this summer, leaving its current Nashville City Center home.

DSI, the nation's fifth-largest dialysis service provider, has signed on for 35,000 square feet on the 18th and 19th floors of the Fifth Third tower.

"We are excited about moving into Fifth Third Center. The move will allow us to consolidate our corporate headquarters onto two floors and upgrade to Class A office space. Growth has caused us to spread out into six locations in our current building. We are looking forward to the efficiencies and cohesion that will come with co-location," DSI CEO Leif Murphy said.

Land Deleot and Walker Willse of Cassidy Turley represented DSI in the transaction with the building's owner, Amstar.

"DSI is very happy with this transaction. The Landlord, management, and leasing team were all very responsive in getting this deal done.  Fifth Third Center has a competitive edge in the downtown market, and the ownership will benefit as we emerge out of this downturn," Deleot said.

Buck Forcum with Newmark Knight Frank represented Hollins Raybin & Weissman, and Ben Burns with Cassidy Turley represented Weatherly McNally & Dixon.  Bo Tyler and Tom Hooper of Eakin Partners represented Amstar in these transactions.

"We are delighted to have had this amount of leasing activity given the current economic conditions and are hopeful that the real estate markets are on a rebound for 2010," said Della Wegman, vice president of Amstar.
