Gateway II sells to Northwestern Mutual

Prominent Nashville real estate developer Alex Palmer sold Maryland Farms office building Gateway II Wednesday to Northwestern Mutual for $24.25 million.

The sale of the four-story, 117,000 square-foot Class A building was brokered by Douglass Johnson and Steve Preston, senior vice-presidents at CB Richard Ellis.

The building sits on 5.5 acres at the intersection of Maryland Way and Granny White Park.
Alex S. Palmer and Company built and developed the building, which is 100 percent occupied, in 2007.

Tenants include LifePoint Hospitals, Stanley D. Lindsey & Associates, and Robins & Morton.
