Permit Patrol: 8 October 2010

HealthSpring's MetroCenter work, water plant roofing, re-imagining a theater, and more...

HealthSpring's new digs

T.W. Frierson has the $9.3 million contract to build the new MetroCenter office building for Medicare plan administrator HealthSpring. The building is slated to be a 102,000-square-foot, one-story facility.

New water plant topper

The flood-rattled K.R. Harrington Water Plant in Donelson is getting a new roof. Maxwell Roofing Sheet Metal has the $485,000 job for Metro Water Services.

Another new tenant at Nashville West

The Wills Company, a home renovation firm, will move in to the Hill Center at Nashville West. Phipps Construction will do the finish out work on 2,261 square feet. The job is valued at $130,000.

What's the coming attraction?

A former theater at 5400 Bell Forge Lane is getting a new (but still mysterious) use. Randy Williams will handle the $122,000 rehab for a "future tenant who will obtain [its] own use permit."
