Catapult launches into The Gulch

Marketing firm inks lease at Terrazzo

Catapult Marketing signed a long-term deal for office space on Terrazzo's third floor.

The Connecticut-based marketing group quietly moved into Nashville in the fall of 2007 before relocating from West End to 10th Avenue in March 2008; now, the agency will occupy 8,100 square feet in The Gulch tower.

Rob Gage, listing agent at Colliers Turley Martin Tucker, worked the deal.

"I think the appeal to them was the amenity-rich neighborhood ... floor-to-ceiling glass and they liked how the space was laid out," he said. "It's a great space with great views."

The 14-story, $68 million Terrazzo, which has more than 100 condos, also contains ground-floor retail sites and 75,000 square feet of commercial space. Catapult is moving onto the third floor, where BB&T is a large tenant.

The company was also attracted by Terrazzo's Silver LEED certification, which he said is a drawing point as firms look to be better corporate citizens.

The company employs more than two dozen people in Nashville and represents Mars Petcare, for which it develops campaigns for the Pedigree and Whiskas brand of pet foods. Mars Petcare's North American headquarters is in Cool Springs.

Calls to D.L. Ryan Companies Ltd., Catapult's corporate parent, were not immediately returned.
