Dollar General to Trinity Lane

Dollar General will build a new store at 415 Trinity Lane. The 9,000-square-foot store will include more than 7,900 square feet of retail space. Group One Construction has the $900,000 contract.

Kroger upgrades on McGavock

The Kroger store at 141 McGavock Pike will get a $700,000 interior facelift. EH Construction will do the work for the Nashville-area grocery market leader.

Construction officially to begin at Lipscomb

A permit for the construction of Lipscomb University’s Hughes Center has been approved. The new 25,300-square-foot arts and engineering center marks a new phase in Lipscomb’s northward development. J.E. Crain and Sons has the nearly $2.5 million contract.

Rehab at Cumberland Heights

Two permits have been pulled for upgrades at Cumberland Heights, an alcohol and drug treatment center on River Road. A basement in the family life center will get $272,000 in upgrades to convert the space for office use. The lower level of the Hazel Hawkins Adolescent Center will see $330,000 worth of work. Solomon Builders has both contracts.

New women's health office at Baptist

A sixth-floor suite in the north tower of Baptist Hospital will be the new home of Tennessee Women’s Care. DWC Construction has the $350,000 job.
