Sounds hire sales VP
The Nashville Sounds announce the hiring of seasoned baseball professional Brad Tammen as the club’s vice president of sales and marketing. He will also oversee the team’s broadcast operations and tickets and sponsorship sales.
Tammen comes to Music City after nine years with the Triple-A Salt Lake Bees, where he served as assistant general manager and oversaw corporate sales as well as all game-day operations. A graduate of Eastern Illinois University, he began his career in 1990 with the Oklahoma City 89ers/Oklahoma RedHawks.
Porter, Moore join Pinnacle
Dianne Porter and Dana Moore have joined Pinnacle Financial Partners. Porter brings 35 years of financial services experience to her role of loan review manager. She comes from First Tennessee Bank, where she was a custom home lender. Before that, she worked at Harpeth National Bank and First American National Bank. She holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Tennessee Tech University.
Moore brings seven years’ experience to her role of financial analyst. She previously worked for KPMG LLP, where she most recently served as a senior audit manager. She holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Middle Tennessee State University.
Creative director joins Victor
Victor Results Advertising has hired Cindy Sargent as creative director. Sargent provides vision and direction for the agency’s creative team.
Sargent brings over 20 years experience to her new position. In addition to receiving local, regional and national ADDYs, her work has been featured in various industry publications. She has been named copywriter of the year three times by the Nashville Advertising Federation.
Sargent developed strategic brand campaigns at her most recent position of vice president and creative director at Lewis Communications. She has also developed strategic branding while serving in creative leadership roles for the Buntin Group, Honsberget & Sargent, Earle Palmer Brown and Jackson Design.
MAC adds VP, promotes others
Nashville-based music sponsorship and fulfillment agency MAC Presents has hired Nick Simulia to be vice president of strategic partnership marketing. Simulia is a seasoned marketing and branding professional with more than 14 years of experience guiding some of the most well-known brands in the business.
MAC Presents also has promoted the following team members: Jessica Beutler to senior sponsorship coordinator; Patrick Moore to director of events; Ruth Gonzalez to vice president of operations; and Jessica Schwartz and Kirby Duncan to sponsorship coordinators.
Niec joins Gold Skin
Gold Skin Care Center has hired Michele Lee Niec to be its marketing director. Niec brings to Gold Skin Care Center over 25 years of marketing and communications experience. Niec most recently led field marketing initiatives for the “R”Us family of companies that includes Babies”R”Us and Toys”R”Us in her position as district marketing manager.
Airport Authority promotes Evans
The Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority has promoted Aaron Evans to assistant director of operations from manager of operations.
In his new role, Evans plans, organizes and directs the functional operation of Nashville International and John C. Tune airports. Evans holds a bachelor’s degree in technical aeronautics from Tennessee State University.
Tidwell named VP at OHL
Global supply chain company OHL recently promoted Andrew Tidwell to vice president of human resources. Tidwell had served as director of HR for the 3PL since 2006.
Prior to joining OHL, Tidwell was director of human resources for Kenworth of Tennessee. He also has worked with automotive manufacturing suppliers, served as an HR generalist for Vanderbilt University, and created a human resources department for Taylor Farms Tennessee and Georgia.
Tidwell earned a BBA and MBA from Middle Tennessee State University.
