Emery announces new venture

Cool Springs developer teams with out-of-state firm

Pat Emery, the former leader of Cool Springs office space pioneer Crescent Resources, has partnered with another North Carolina-based real estate firm to start a new venture. Emery will team with Spectrum Properties for the new development company, which will be called Spectrum Properties/Emery.

As president of the new venture, Emery will oversee a portfolio consisting of Class A office, industrial, and mixed-use space. His responsibilities will include acquisitions, leasing and management, development and selective brokering. Spectrum owns 4.6 million square feet of office, industrial and residential in North and South Carolina.

While at Crescent, Emery steered the company in the development of over 1.5 million square-feet of class A office space in Cool Springs, helping to build up the market into the powerhouse it is today. He announced in late May he was leaving Crescent.
