Insurance brokers launch elder planning venture
Firm is outgrowth of broader financial planning firm
Two Franklin-based financial advisors have opened the doors to the Estate & Elder Planning Center, a planning firm to set up seniors with the financial advice to better manage their assets.
The venture by Kerry Morris and Donald Thomas is a sister company to Assurance Financial Partners, a health insurance agency. With EEPC, they are focused on estate and asset division, gifting and various long-term care topics.
“The wrong advice can put [seniors] in a financial position that is practically impossible to climb out of,” said Morris. “The EEPC was established to protect senior citizens – no matter how much or little they may have – and give them the power of information so they can enjoy retirement knowing their assets are in order.”
