East Nashville Lodge getting overhaul, a couple of airport jobs, a new roof for part of Opryland, and more...

The former site of the Edgefield Lodge at 611 N. 14th St. in East Nashville will soon get a substantial facelift to house the Corinthian Lodge. R.C. Mathews Contractor pulled permits recently for $1.6 million worth of work to the building, including the addition of a gabled portico and new porch.

Permits were issued this week for the second phase of the Rose Monte townhome development in Brentwood. Work will soon begin on seven buildings, all around 1,450 square feet. The total construction value is $986,700. Macs LLC is handling the construction.

Flow Construction Co. pulled permits recently for work on a hangar at Nashville International Airport, the new location of HEH Corp. The site, located at 603 Hangar Lane, will soon see a 2,033-square-foot addition begin to rise. The work is valued at $823,642.

In other local airport work, construction is starting on a 4,800-square-foot hangar at the John C. Tune airport. The structure is valued at $295,536 and is being built by Century Construction Co.

Artist management company Fitzgerald Hartley is readying for the construction of a 1,500-square-foot addition to its building at 1908 Blakemore Ave. in Hillsboro Village. Kimmy Perryman Construction is handling the work, which is valued at almost $340,000.

Analytics testing group TestAmerica has hired the Donelson Roofing Co. to reroof the company’s building at 2960 Foster Creighton Drive near 100 Oaks Mall. The work is valued at $199,000.

Don Kennedy Roofing Co. pulled permits this week for the reroofing of a portion of the Presidential Building at the Opryland Hotel. The work will cost $128,000.
