Tennessee Commerce Bancorp has named Lamar Cox its chief operations officer, completing an executive mini-shuffle.
Cox's move comes a week after Tennessee Commerce announced the hiring of former Integra Bank Martin Zorn to replace Cox as chief administrative officer. It means the 66-year-old Cox – who also sits on Tennessee Commerce's board – has now held three C-level posts at the business-focused bank: From 2000 to 2005, he was its CFO.
Shares of Franklin-based Tennessee Commerce (Ticker: TNCC) fell more than 6 percent Thursday, closing at $4.82, their lowest level since the nine-year-old bank listed its shares on the Nasdaq in late 2005. Through the first nine months of 2009, the company lost $8.4 million.
