Psych Solutions execs get 2010 raises
Five executives at Psychiatric Solutions will receive base salary increases in 2010. For top man Joey Jacobs, the hike will be the first in two years.
Jacobs, Psych Solutions' chairman, president and CEO, will have a base salary of $1,545,000 in 2010, up 3 percent from his base pay in 2008 and 2009, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing.
COO Ronald Fincher’s base pay will be $585,000. The company’s three executive vice presidents — Jack Polson, chief accounting officer, Brent Turner, finance and administration, and Christopher Howard, general counsel and secretary — will each receive $500,000 in base pay, up from $460,000 in 2009.
The compensation committee of the company’s board of directors approved the Jan. 1 salary increases on Dec. 18 along with changes to its equity compensation plan.
A proxy statement filed in April reports Jacobs also received a $1.1 million cash bonus in addition to his $1.5 million base salary in 2009, as well as awards of 50,000 stock options and 50,000 restricted shares.
Shares of Psych Solutions (Ticker: PSYS) were flat at about 12:30 Monday. They have fallen about 22 percent this year.
