Singer parent names four Nashville execs

Hires target supply chain, retail and marketing operations

SVP Worldwide, parent company of La Vergne-based Singer Sewing Co., today announced a handful of new executive team appointments, including four in Nashville.

Locally, Rick Kerrigan has been named senior vice president of supply chain, Nickolaus Wohrle is vice president of product development, Barbara Quijada is vice president of retail sales and Ann Bragg-Korhnak is vice president of aftermarket and brand extension sales.

Singer ramped up its local presence 12 years ago when it relocated its consumer products unit here. In May, the company leased an additional 122,600 square feet of space in La Vergne, less than two miles from Singer's headquarters.

Kerrigan joins SVP after serving as vice president of global supply chain for Formica Corp. He will lead global operations and supply chain, including research and development, engineering and quality.

Wohrle, who has served in senior roles with SVP and related companies since 1996, most recently held the title of global product manager.

Quijada will lead the sales team for SVP’s 186 retail stores. She joined VSM, now SVP Worldwide, in 1998 after 16 years with House of Fabrics Inc.

And Bragg-Korhnak — who will head the global sales and marketing team for Husqvarna Viking, Pfaff, and Singer Aftermarket products — has spent 13 years with SVP, most recently as area manager of retail sales.

The company also announced the hiring of Hilmi Kelleci, previously general manager of Dell Turkey, as senior vice president of international sales and business development based in Milan, Italy.

Based in Hamilton, Bermuda, SVP designs and makes household sewing machines and related products under the Singer, Husqvarna Viking and Pfaff brands. SVP operates in more than 190 countries through its affiliated companies.
