Scott Lindsey has joined the trust services group of Pinnacle Financial Partners, leaving a group vice president post at SunTrust Bank.

At Pinnacle, Lindsey will be senior VP and trust services advisor and will work from the bank's downtown headquarters. The 20-year industry veteran, who also had a stint at the former First American, will oversee the administration of various types of personal trusts, charitable trusts, life insurance trusts and estate administration.

Pinnacle (Ticker: PNFP) runs 31 offices in Middle Tennessee. It acquired its trust department. which now manages about $600 million, when it bought Cavalry Bancorp in 2006.
