Two new Davidson assistant DAs

Davidson County District Attorney General Torry Johnson has added Robert Homlar and Jennifer Smith to his staff as assistant DAs.

Homlar received his law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law and his bachelor's from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. Previously, he was an associate at Blackburn & McCune as well as an Assistant D.A. in Augusta, Ga.

Smith came to the District Attorney's office from the Tennessee Department of Commerce & Insurance, where she was assistant general counsel. Before that that, she was a special hearing officer with the Department of Human Services. Smith received both her undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Dayton.
