Manufacturer Cummins Inc. has named an Owen grad and 13-year veteran of the company president of its Nashville-based filtration business.
Joseph Saoud will take the reins of Cummins Filtration April 1, succeeding Pamela Carter, who last month was named head of Cummins' distribution unit. Saoud is currently Cummins' managing director of Middle East distribution and has in the past been general manager at Cummins Filtration. He also has worked in the company's parts and services, manufacturing and finance divisions.
In addition to his degree from Vanderbilt's Owen Graduate School of Management, Saoud also holds a bachelor's business degree from the University of Southern Mississippi.
