First Colony medical office project lands anchor

Venture between two local healthcare organizations to occupy more than 60 percent of Williamson County building

Tollgate Village Medical Pavilion, a new medical office building in Williamson County, has landed an anchor tenant.

Developer First Colony Healthcare today said it has inked a deal with Williamson-Saint Thomas Community Health LLC, a joint venture between Williamson Medical Center and Saint Thomas Health services. The combined entity will occupy 30,000 of the building’s 45,000 total square feet.

Part of the planned Tollgate Village community being developed by Carbine Realty Group in Thompson's Station, the Medical Pavilion is slated to begin construction in March with a completion date set for late 2008.

Charlotte-based First Colony Corp. set up shop in the Nashville area just over two years ago, creating the affiliate First Colony Healthcare and opening an office in Franklin. Other First Colony Healthcare projects currently underway in Middle Tennessee include a pair of office buildings in the Westgate Commons area near Cool Springs.
