Moses tapped to lead national family law group

Well-known local family law attorney Marlene Moses has been named president-elect of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.

The organization includes approximately 1,600 divorce and family law attorneys nationwide. According to its website, the group, which was formed in 1962, was founded “to encourage the study, improve the practice, elevate the standards and advance the cause of matrimonial law, to the end that the welfare of the family and society be protected."  

Moses, a partner with Moses & Townsend, is a former president of Lawyers Association for Women and a former vice-president of the Nashville Bar Association.
