Jimmy Kelly's robbed
Multiple sources have informed NashvillePost.com that well-known steakhouse Jimmy Kelly’s was robbed earlier this week.
According to the Metro Police Department, which confirmed the incident, at about 9:45 a.m. on Wednesday morning, three men followed a deliveryman into the restaurant, robbed him and proceeded to rob an exterminator who had come to the restaurant to perform services. The three then robbed the restaurant itself.
Police said the men, who have yet to be apprehended, were described as black males in their mid-twenties, with hooded sweatshirts and faces obscured by T-shirts. All were also describes as between 5’8” and 5’10” with average builds.
No information was offered by police as to how much money the thieves made off with.
The restaurant has remained open for business.
