People: Former Harpeth Cos. CEO Stevens to join Lipscomb faculty

Lipscomb University announced today that recently retired Harpeth Companies CEO Turney Stevens will be joining the university as executive-in-residence and assistant professor of business.

In this new role he will teach courses in strategy and entrepreneurship at the graduate and undergraduate levels. Additionally, he will “research and implement strategic plans” under the direction of Lipscomb President Randy Lowry.

As reported by NashvillePost.com, Stevens, a Lipscomb alum, retired from the Harpeth Companies in October.
