Today local bio-pharma outfit Cumberland Pharmaceuticals announced the promotions of four executives to more senior roles with the company.

They are:

Jean W. Marstiller was promoted to senior vice president and corporate secretary. She joined the company in 1999 as vice president of administrative services.

J. William Hix has been named Cumberland’s vice president of sales and marketing.  He has been with the company since 2004 when he came on board as director of hospital sales.

James L. Herman will be the company’s new senior director of national accounts and corporate compliance officer. In this role he will be responsible for all national accounts sales, including wholesalers, retail chains, managed care groups and federal government accounts.

Amy Dix Rock, who formerly occupied the senior scientist role with Cumberland has been tapped to serve as senior manager of regulatory affairs
