People: Bass Berry & Sims names six associates
Bass Berry & Sims has announced the addition of six associates to its roster, although most have been on the job for a while already.
Joining the firm's litigation practice are Jacqueline N. Land and Laura S. Street. Prior to joining Bass Berry in July, Land worked as an associate with Hoffman & Pollok in New York. Street made a lateral move in May from Manier & Herod in Nashville.
Shannon E. Pinkston joined the healthcare practice in April. She previously worked for Bass Berry after graduating for Vanderbilt University School of Law in 1998. She was later an associate at Alston & Bird, Atlanta, and served as assistant general counsel for Envoy Corp., now a subsidiary of WebMD Corp.
Coming into the corporate and securities practice last January was Erika L. Gilmore, who was previously an associate with Lane & Waterman in Davenport, Ia. Jamie V. Wade, who graduated from Stanford Law School in 2004, joined the same practice in July.
Michael J. Holley, a 2005 graduate of University of Mississippi School of Law who received his L.L.M. from New York University School of Law this year, joined the tax practice area in June.
All six are working from the firm's downtown Nashville office.
