R.C. Mathews Contractor LLC is building a three-story wing for nursing/therapy/office at the Blakeford at Green Hills at 11 Burton Hills Blvd. This is part of an addition to the 10-year-old retirement community. The permit is valued at $5 million.
University Square replaces stucco
Bock Construction Inc. is replacing the exterior stucco to the University Square Condominiums at 900 19th Ave. S. The permit is valued at $2.1 million.

Hearn Contracting Inc. is constructing a one-story, 11,625-square-foot building for Cole Brothers Auto Trim & Glass Tinting at 711 Myatt Center Lane. The permit is valued at $1.2 million. The business is currently located at 326 East Old Hickory Blvd. in Madison.
Christian academy expands
Carden Co. Inc. is constructing a 4,100-square-foot addition to the St. Paul Christian Academy at 5035 Hillsboro Pike. The permit is valued at $939,000.
Vandy Stadium Club gets fit
Flow Construction Co. Inc. is renovating 17,887 square feet at the Vanderbilt University Stadium Club to add a HealthPlus Fitness Center and offices. The permit is valued at $564,000.
Nissan communications firm builds out space
Solomon Builders Inc. is renovating 5,300 square feet on the third floor of Cummins Station for The Designory, a Long Beach, Calif.-based communications firm that works with Nissan North America Inc. It is coming to Nashville for Nissan with global advertising firm TBWA/Chiat/Day, which also has leased space in Cummins Station. The permit for The Designory space is valued at $500,000.
Ensworth athletics to get concession stand and wrestling locker room
Brasfield & Gorrie LLC is enclosing space at Ensworth High School's athletic building for concessions and building out the wrestling locker room. The permit is valued at $256,000.
Brentwood Holiday Inn gets facelift
JVK Construction LLC is rehabbing the exterior of the Holiday Inn at 760 Old Hickory Blvd. The hotel is near the new Target-anchored shopping center just off Interstate 65 at the Brentwood line. The permit is valued at $160,000.
Insurance branch renovating space in Highland Ridge Tower
Tenant Building Group LLC is building out a 5,373-square-foot portion of Highland Ridge Tower at 535 Marriott Drive for Blue Bell, Pa.-based PMA Insurance Group, a property and casualty company that specializes in workers' compensation insurance products. The company has an existing branch office at 5141 Virginia Way in the Maryland Farms Office Park. The permit is valued at $130,000.
