Undeveloped 57 acres in Century City to be sold at auction

Century Capital Investment Group, a Mississippi-based company that owns the remaining 57 acres of undeveloped land in the Century City Office Park, has decided to sell that land at auction.

"With the economy improving, interest rates just beginning to rise, and a robust Nashville market, we decided the time was right to go ahead and market these parcels al at once,” Bill Lehr, spokesman for Century Capital, said in a release.

The office park, on Century Blvd. just off of I-40, is home to several businesses including Willis, Bridgestone Corp., and Gideons International. Five of the six remaining lots will be sold at absolute auction regardless of the price offered. The lots range from six to seventeen acres.

The company managing the sale, J.P. King Auction Co., handles properties throughout the U.S., and is best known in the Nashville for its sale of Barbara Mandrell’s log mansion.

The auction will be held Thursday, July 29 at 11:00 am. More info can be found here.
