Mayor Karl Dean was recently presented with the 2012 Nashvillian of the Year Award at a celebration benefiting Easter Seals Tennessee, which helps children and adults with disabilities live with greater independence. Also at the event, Terry Cobb, director of the Metro Department of Codes & Building Safety, was presented with the Buddy Killen Memorial Volunteer Service Award, which is given to an Easter Seals Tennessee volunteer in memory of longtime Easter Seals Tennessee Board Member and Chair Buddy Killen.
