Business owners rank Tennessee high in survey
Female entrepreneurs in Tennessee are more comfortable economically than their male counterparts, according to a survey of small business owners by Thumbtack.com and the Kauffman Foundation.
Female entrepreneurs were 38 percent more likely than male entrepreneurs to rate their company's current financial situation as good or very good.
The survey of 6,000 small businesses nationwide ranked Tennessee as the sixth least expensive state for hiring new employees.
Liberal small business owners were happier with their businesses’ financial conditions than conservatives. Liberal entrepreneurs in Tennessee were 25 percent more likely than conservative entrepreneurs to rate their businesses’ financial situations as good or very good.
