Nissan donates $70K to LU
Nissan North America, Inc., has awarded Lipscomb University’s Raymond B. Jones College of Engineering two grants totaling $70,000.
The donation will fund LU’s annual summer robotics camp and regional BEST robotics competition in the fall.
“These teaching tools align with Nissan’s commitment to STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) education and make learning fun for all the students who participate.” Susan Brennan, Nissan vice president of manufacturing, said in a release.

Turner Foundation donates $3M to Meharry
The Cal Turner Family Foundation has donated $3 million to Meharry Medical College, with the gift to be used to construct an 80,000-square-foot academic building on the college's North Nashville campus.
