TriStar Horizon CEO retiring

TriStar Horizon Medical Center CEO John Marshall is retiring after a more than a decade in the hospital's top position.

Marshall joined the Dickson hospital as CEO in 2002. TriStar Health CEO Steve Corbeil said in a release that a search for Marshall's successor is underway.

"Excellent leadership is an essential ingredient in creating high quality and safe care places for patients," Corbeil said. "John and his team are to be commended for keeping patient safety at the forefront of everything they do. He has enhanced TriStar Horizon's legacy by leading by example and fostering an environment of compassionate quality care."
