Shelia Shipley Biddy, who back in the day was the first woman to run a large Music Row label, has been promoted to director of national promotion at Flying Island Entertainment, the label launched last year by Open Road Records. Flying Island is the home of The Voice contestant Gwen Sebastian and Shooter Jennings, among others.
