District building sells to Ragland entity for $3.3M

An investor group led by C.B. Ragland Co. officials Brandon Kuvara and Michael Hayes has acquired a Second Avenue building in The District for $3.3 million, Nashville Business Journal reports.

The acquisition of the three-story vintage masonry building (see here courtesy of Google Maps), located at 135 Second Ave. N., is the equivalent of almost $300 per square foot.

Two unidentified investors teamed with Kuvara and Hayes, according to NBJ.

The seller was Phil Martin.

Ragland eyes Second Avenue building

An investor group led by members of Nashville-based real estate company C.B. Ragland Co. has a downtown building located within The District under contract, Nashville Business Journal reports.

Located at 135 Second Ave. N., the vacant three-story building could support retail, restaurant and/or entertainment uses.

NBJ quotes Brandon Kuvara, a Ragland principal broker, as saying the sale is scheduled to close in early summer and that the group plans $750,000 worth of renovations.
