First Advantage COO taking on CFO duties

First Advantage Bancorp in Clarksville says it has named recently hired Jerry Cooksey, COO of its bank subsidiary since September, interim CFO and acting secretary for both the holding company (Ticker: FABK) and the bank. Cooksey is filling the shoes of Bonita Spiegl, who on Monday resigned as CFO after spending several years at the company. He previously spent time at community banks in the Chattanooga and Knoxville areas.

Clarksville bank holding company loses CFO

First Advantage Bancorp, the holding company for the similarly named Clarksville bank, is on the hunt for a new CFO after Bonita Spiegl resigned Monday, effective immediately. Spiegl had been in her corporate role at First Advantage, which runs five branches in Clarksville and a loan office on West End Avenue, only since the summer of last year.

New CFO for Clarksville bank holding company

First Advantage Bancorp, the $350 million bank holding company headquartered in Clarksville, has named Bonita Spiegl its new CFO. Spiegl, who had been controller of the company's First Federal Savings Bank subsidiary, has been with the company since 2007. She takes over from Patrick Greenwell, who had been CFO since 2005. The company (Ticker: FABK) gave no details about Greenwell's departure.
