The local office of Stites & Harbison has added to its ranks Ashley Goins, a recent University of Tennessee College of Law graduate who has joined the firm's domestic relations and business litigation groups. Goins spent the summer of 2014 in Stites' summer associate program and also has interned at the Tennessee District Attorney's Office for the 7th Judicial District, the Tennessee Department of Children's Services and the Shelby County (Ohio) Public Defender's Office.

Luke Savoie will join Midtown-based L-3 ForceX as the newly formed defense contracting company’s top executive, Venture Nashville Connections reports.
The move, which will soon be formally announced, comes after New York City-based L-3 Communications acquired last week what had been called ForceX for an undisclosed sum (read more here).
Savoie (pictured) once worked with ForceX, which was then based in Clarksville. He most recently served as senior vice president of business development for Colorado-based Sierra Nevada Corp. in Colorado.
As part of the deal, former ForceX CEO Tracy Guarino and chairman Joseph Calabrace will not be part of the new entity, according to VNC. Calabrace founded the company in 2004.

Boutique firm SoBro Law Group has recruited Hannah Kolb to be its third attorney and to lead its commercial banking and SBA lending efforts. Kolb, a native of South Carolina, had been an associate at Rudy Wood & Winstead, where she worked since mid-2012.
