Metro awards helicopter repair contract

The City of Nashville Metropolitan Police Department has signed a deal with StandardAero. Under the exclusive five-year contract, StandardAero — a subsidiary of Dubai Aerospace Enterprise — will perform repair and overhaul services on the police department's seven-helicopter fleet. The work will be conducted at StandardAero's facilities in Canada and North Carolina.

“Today’s announcement not only validates the quality of our services and our reputation for customer service, but also solidifies StandardAero’s presence as the premier M250 MRO provider within Airborne Law Enforcement Agency circles,” said Tom Roche, StandardAero Vice President, Helicopter Programs. “We’re excited about our new relationship with Metro and the ability to provide them with a comprehensive support network that includes a M250 overhaul facility in Tennessee’s neighboring state North Carolina,” concluded Roche.
