The demise of MF Global and its impact on the financing markets have sliced a big chunk off the bids coming in for Morgan Keegan, the brokerage unit of Regions Financial, Bloomberg reports. Whereas Morgan Keegan had been set to fetch $1 billion or more, the top offer now appears to be closer to $750 million.
