Comfort Supply expands into Chattanooga
Building systems wholesaler Comfort Supply has opened a 20,000-square-foot facility in Chattanooga, its sixth overall and third new outpost in the past two years. It's also the first Ruud PROSTOCK concept store for the 40-year-old company.
"Chattanooga, with its recent growth due to the addition of the Volkswagen plant, is the perfect location for our new store. This area is growing quickly and it is our opinion that it will only continue to grow in the coming years," said Clay Blevins, president of Comfort Supply. "We look forward to forming new customer relationships and cementing our commitment to the city of Chattanooga."

Heating and air conditioning wholesaler Comfort Supply has opened a location in Knoxville. The 14,000-square-foot warehouse and showroom is the company's fifth and comes a year after it expanded into Clarksville and extends its reach eastward from Cookeville. CEO Clay Blevins said "Knoxville was the next logical step for Comfort Supply," which distributes Ruud products and has averaged annual revenue growth of about 20 percent since 2006, when it first grew beyond Nashville proper.
