BOHAN hires two with national backgrounds

Nashville-based Bohan Advertising (stylized as BOHAN) has announced the hiring of Cristina Goodenough as executive engagement director and Kyla Costa as account executive, both of whom bring national work backgrounds to the firm.

Goodenough (on left in photo), who will lead the agency’s media planning and buying in what is a new position, previously was associate strategic director at PHD’s Chicago office for that agency’s Newell Rubbermaid, Sleep Number and Cricket Wireless accounts. She has developed plans for, among others, Paper Mate, Bissell Home Solutions and Jennie-O Turkey.

Goodenough’s work for Paper Mate was shortlisted at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity for best use of integrated media. It won an Integrated Advertising Bureau MIXX silver award for branded content and it won gold and silver at the W3 Awards in two categories.

Goodenough began her career at Starcom Worldwide in Chicago, working on Applebee’s and Sara Lee. She is a graduate of Indiana University.

Costa, who will work in BOHAN’s retail practice area, previously was marketing specialist for Procter & Gamble brand Gillette. There, she led the company's 2012 Olympic Games sponsorship activities in London. She also was responsible for revamping Gillette’s brand visibility in Gillette Stadium, home of the NFL New England Patriots.
