Michael Powers, the former president of Bigger Picture Group, has teamed up with former colleague Matt Corbin to form Star Farm Nashville to handle various artist project management services. The duo are promising artist signings and staff additions will come soon. Bigger Picture closed its doors earlier this year.

Bigger Picture Group has promoted Liz Cost to director of marketing and Jody Mazer to director of project management, Bob Cahill, the company’s executive vice president and general manager, announced today.
Both Cost (on right in photo) and Mazer previously served as product managers.
“Liz and Jody are hard workers, strategic thinkers, and key members of the Bigger Picture Group team,” Cahill said in a release. “We are excited to recognize their past accomplishments as we all work together towards creating additional success and opportunities for Bigger Picture Group and our artists."
Cost joined Bigger Picture Group in June 2010, while Mazer joined in November of that year.

EJ Bernas has been named director of national promotion at Bigger Picture Group. Bernas will oversee radio promotion of various Bigger Picture Group artists and assist in promoting the Zac Brown Band, according to President Michael Powers.
With more than 10 years of experience in country radio promotion, Bernas has been involved in several country artists’ radio hits, including those of George Strait, Lee Ann Womack and Josh Turner, among others. Previously, Bernas was the vice president of music and entertainment for the Tin Roof Corp. He was also part of the Universal Music Group family for eight years, where he served as senior director of Southwest promotion for MCA.
Record label and promotion company Bigger Picture Group has named venture capitalist and artist manager David Robkin its CEO. Chairman and Chief Creative Officer Keith Stegall says Robkin, who began working with Bigger Picture last year, is "the final piece of the pie we needed to complete Bigger Picture and grow our footprint accordingly." Bigger Picture runs recording, publishing and digital divisions and works with Chris Cagle and the Zac Brown Band, among others.
