Former Titan Keith Bulluck arrested on robbery charge

Just hours after taking part in the broadcast of the Titans preseason win over the Atlanta Falcons, former Titans linebacker Keith Bulluck was arrested after allegedly taking $100 from a cab driver.

From Channel 5:

Police said they got a call around 2:50 a.m. Sunday that the taxi driver was having an argument with someone in his cab in front of Blue Gene's at 1715 Church Street.

The driver was waiting on a fare who had already paid when officials said he was approached for a ride by a suspect identified as Bulluck.

When the driver told Bulluck he already had a fare, the former Titan allegedly became enraged, grabbed the driver, assaulted him and took money from him.  He then fled the scene.

The cab driver was also involved in an incident with Sen. Ophelia Ford back in 2007.

More from Paul Kuharsky.

Bullock released the following statement:

“I was out with friends last night in Nashville and was taking a cab home,” Bulluck said. “There was a misunderstanding between me and the cab driver about getting my money back for a service not rendered. At 2 a.m., things could easily get lost in translation, but regardless of who was right or wrong, I regret putting myself in that situation.”
