The AG applications are in

Eight people are vying for the Supreme Court’s appointment as the state’s top lawyer following a high-stakes election where three of the five members were targeted for their Democrat ties and how they will choose the next attorney general.

The high court plans to meet Tuesday, Sept. 2, to iron out details for their selection process, then conduct a public hearing and interviews the week after.
