A whole host of Rutherfordians have endorsed Jim Tracy:
Rep. Womick became the fourth member of the Rutherford County Delegation to join Senator Tracy’s leadership team for Congress and publicly pledge his support. Sen. Bill Ketron, Rep. Dawn White, and Rep. Mike Sparks are also members of the Jim Tracy for Congress Leadership Team.
“As a small businessman, Jim Tracy understands the challenges and burdens that our small businesses face,” said Senate Republican Caucus Chairman Bill Ketron. “He brought that experience to the Senate where he has worked diligently to lessen unnecessary regulation and keep Tennessee a low tax state. He will bring that commonsense approach to Washington. As the Chairman for the Science, Technology Engineering and Mathematics Caucus he has been a tremendous force for improving K-12 education in subjects which are at the core of many high growth jobs in our state. As Chairman of the Transportation Committee he has been a huge factor in helping Tennessee build a good infrastructure that promotes job growth. Jim Tracy is good for business in Tennessee and a person we can trust.”
“I've known Senator Tracy and his family for years. His pro-education stance and commitment to family values make him the most effective choice for the 4th District. I am honored to endorse him in his race for Congress,” said Rep. Dawn White, representing the 37th District in Murfreesboro.
“In the six years that I have known Jim Tracy, I have found him to be a man of conviction, integrity, and an advocate of the prolife movement. In the eight years Senator Tracy has served in the General Assembly, he has represented the values of the constituents we share in Rutherford County in an exemplary manner. I fully support Jim Tracy in his congressional campaign and look forward to his continued service to our great state,” said Rep. Womick.
Rep. Mike Sparks of Smyrna, stated, “I appreciate Senator Tracy's strong stance on the second amendment. Because of his leadership on this issue, I am pleased to endorse him in the race for the 4th Congressional District.”
“I am honored and humbled to have the support of my colleagues. We have all worked together for a long time both at the legislature and in the community and I appreciate their support,” said Sen. Tracy.
