No Senate decision on Bebb expected until next year

Following the Senate Judiciary Committee's secret executive session today about whether there's enough evidence to unseat District Attorney General Steve Bebb for alleged misconduct, Sen. Kelsey sent this up the chain:

“Dear Governor Ramsey. I am writing to inform you of the status of the Senate Judiciary Committee investigation of District Attorney General R. Steven Bebb. Purusant to Senate Resolution 40, the committee is investigating the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation file relating to the subject. The investigation will remain ongoing and confidential. At this time, the committee does not plan to make a recommendation to the full Senate prior to its convening in January. Sincerely, Brian Kelsey."
