Ever heard of the Small Business & Entrepreneurship Council's Business Tax Index?

Well, their index has taken a look at all 50 states and the District of Columbia and ranked them in order of the best tax environment to run a small business.

Number one in the nation is South Dakota. Tennesse comes in at 14, with Minnesota and the District of Columbia bringing up the rear at 50 and 51.
