Not his call

The governor doesn't take a hard stance on Scott DesJarlais:

“I think the congressman’s decision is, can I effectively represent the people who elected me?” Haslam told reporters after a public appearance in Nashville. “It’s not my call. It’s his decision.”

Because DesJarlais's track

Because DesJarlais's track record shows he's got "great" judement and would do the right thing and step down on his own...right?  No.  Too much ego.  If he had any sense of decency, there were plenty of opportunities for DesJarlais to make the right call.  Just goes to show, you can't govern morality.

Maybe Haslam should say, "

Maybe Haslam should say, " well he can't seem to keep his marriage oath, or his medical oath, I wonder if he will keep his oath to the constitution. "
