Republicans are going after Tim Barnes for using taxpayer funds to send a mailer from his office. By the way, his use of said funds and the mailer are perfectly legal, though the Republican Caucus' executive director said Barnes was "flirting" with the law.

But, he said, “whether it follows the rule or not doesn’t make it right. Sen. Barnes is using taxpayer resources to build up his name” and that’s not fair, he said, when “our candidate has to pay for it himself.”

I'm sure none of the GOP candidates for Senate used their postal accounts on mailers. That just wouldn't be fair.
