NY Governor Suggests Ford Jr. Go Run For Senate Somewhere Else

Paterson a conciliatory stance when first asked about Ford's potential challenge to his hand-picked replacement for former Sen. Hillary Clinton, telling reporters:
“I think it is OK for anyone to challenge anybody in the primary this year. That’s what Democracy is about, and I still think that my feeling is enhanced about the service of Senator (Kirsten) Gillibrand over this year.”
When about Ford’s history of opposing abortion rights, however, Paterson changed his tune.
“You know I hadn’t really thought of that until you brought it up, so I would suggest he would look for another state to run a primary,” Paterson said.

The Empire State is some sort
The Empire State is some sort of a Mecca for Southern liberal carpetbaggers. Hillary Clinton is a prime example. Some New Yorkers may be taken in by Ford's glamor and glitter and his silver tongue; but, I know that he comes from a long line of corrupt politicians - the notorious Ford dynasty. It will be a pleasure to inform my fellow NY'ers about this phony baloney's family tree.
No, Mr. Ford, you are not going to waltz into my state and ask to be anointed, as if a US Senate seat was your birthright.
Ford doesn't know the Finger Lakes from the Great Lakes, he doesn't know the Niagara Frontier from the Leatherstocking District. He doesn't know Grand Island from Long Island. The guy's an outsider, looking at my state as his personal steeping stone to greatness. As a native New Yorker, I
As a native New Yorker, I know that NY politics are not intuitive; things are seldom as they appear. Empire State politics are a byzantine and convoluted mass of competing special interests.
Has Junior Ford pledged allegiance to AIPAC? If not, his campaign is going nowhere. AIPAC thoroughly approves of Sen. Gillibrand, why change horses needlessly.
Without the support of Chuck Schumer, Gov. Paterson and Mike Bloomberg, Junior Ford cannot advance politically in New York.
