Nashville-based video security and surveillance company Smartvue Corp. announced today it will partner with Brivo Systems LLC of Bethesda, Maryland.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed in a release.
With the deal, Brivo Systems and Smartvue will offer cloud-based and local video storage and management via web browsers, smartphones and tablets to small, medium and enterprise markets through the Smartvue Network Video Recorder.

The Brivo OnAirSM Online Video Recording platform integrated with Smartvue provides organizations the ability to access both live feeds and recorded high-definition video to “improve facility safety, security and total cost of ownership,” according to the release.

Founded in 1999, Brivo Systems is a wholly owned subsidiary of Elmhurst, Illinois-based The Duchossois Group, a privately held entity comprising companies it notes are valued at approximately $2 billion.
