Republic Records Co-Founder and Chief Executive Monte Lipman and Executive Vice President Charlie Walk announced today the promotion of Joseph Carozza to senior vice president, media relations.
In a release, Republic Records said Carozza (pictured) has been instrumental in the success of artists including Lorde, Ariana Grande, Tiesto, Enrique Iglesias and Martin Garrix, among others.
Previously, Carozza served in media relations at Rogers & Cowan for artists such as The Rolling Stones, Elton John and Motley Crue. Simultaneously, he handled entertainment branding for the GRAMMYs, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and Honda Civic. Carozza then moved to Sony Music’s Epic Records where he worked on campaigns for Ozzy Osbourne, The Fray, Sade and Sean Kingston.
“Every artist has his or her own unique story. Joe, along with his handpicked team, are able to tell that narrative so it sticks in the most elegant, honest fashion,” Walk said in the release. “Joe Carozza bring his highly sophisticated approach to ‘music media marketing’ to Republic.”
