White's 'Lazaretto' sets vinyl sales record

Nashville-based rocker, entrepreneur and furniture upholstery expert Jack White saw his Lazeretto vinyl album sell 40,000 copies (the most significant week for a vinyl album since SoundScan began tracking sales in 1991). The album — recorded at White's SoBro-based Third Man Records — also saw 41,000 CDs sold and nearly 57,000 downloads. Rolling Stone has the info here.
