Work starts on Germantown's Butchertown Hall

On-site work has begun on Butchertown Hall, the German-inspired beer garden to be located in Germantown.

Powell Construction Studio will handle general contracting efforts via a $725,000 permit. The work will include renovations to an existing building and the construction of an addition.

Butchertown Hall (the name is derived from Germantown’s history as a district with many butcher shops) will be located at 1416 Fourth Ave. N. near Morgan Park and east of Lofts. It is a joint venture between local bar owner Terry Raley (Holland House and The Pharmacy), who created Amaranth Hospitality Group for the effort, and Woodland Street Partners.
