Reconstructive surgeon Garza to open downtown office

Local reconstructive surgeon Dr. Robert Garza will open a downtown Nashville office this spring within space at 3rd and Church Health Care.

In a release, Garza (pictured), who opened his Belle Meade-area practice in 2009, said his expansion into downtown is in response to a growing number of patients who live and/or work in Nashville's urban core and who have limited time due to busy schedules.

The building from which Garza will operate is located at the southwest corner of the Third Avenue South and Church Street intersection. Initially, patients will be required to schedule appointments. But as activity grows, walk-in traffic will be welcomed, he said.

“Our goal is to make their options more convenient, in a setting that is staffed by medical professionals with extensive knowledge about the services they provide,” Garza said in the release. “We feel this is a point of differentiation as we are proponents of an informed patient rather than simply offering a service.”

Presently, Garza is the only plastic surgeon in Tennessee to offer Invasix, a portable liposculpting technology that utilizes radiofrequency to address unwanted body and skin features without surgery. The downtown office will offer Invasix, Botox, dermal fillers, resurfacing and skin tightening, facial peels, advanced skin care and surgery consultation.
